This is the personal website of Paul Götz, goetz@soziologie.uzh.ch. It is a private, non-commercial academic site. The University of Zürich is my employer; this website is not a publication of the University of Zürich, and all views expressed here are my own.

This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, tracking, or advertising. Fonts and all other assets are served from this site itself; no third-party resources are loaded when you visit.

The site runs on a self-managed virtual server rented from Hetzner Online GmbH (Gunzenhausen, Germany), with the data center located in Falkenstein, Germany. As the operator of that server, I retain technical access data — such as IP address, browser type, and time of request — in server logs for 14 days to deliver the site and keep it secure. I do not otherwise access, combine, or evaluate this data. As the infrastructure provider, Hetzner processes data related to operating the underlying server; see Hetzner’s privacy policy ↗ for details on their processing.

Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), you may request information about, correction of, or deletion of personal data concerning you by writing to the address above.
